Alisha Pattillo is a seasoned saxophonist based in Northwest Arkansas, celebrated for her full-bodied tenor sound and magnetic stage presence. With a voice on the horn that blends technical command with emotional depth, Alisha effortlessly navigates the worlds of jazz, soul, R&B, and blues, making her a sought-after artist for both live performances and studio sessions.
Her performance résumé spans a wide range of prestigious acts and international venues. Alisha has performed with the Broadway production of Tina – The Tina Turner Musical, shared the stage with Grammy Award-winning band Portugal. The Man, and toured with the iconic Glenn Miller Orchestra and Tommy Dorsey Orchestra. She has appeared twice at the acclaimed Umbria Jazz Festival in Italy and performed at the Tulsa International Jazz Festival, as well as at numerous clubs and festivals throughout Singapore, Mexico, Australia, and Vietnam, captivating audiences with her vibrant and commanding sound.
Alisha leads her own innovative jazz fusion project, AP Electric Band, where her diverse musical influences come together in a high-energy, genre-blending sound. Her latest album, “Chromazone – Alisha Pattillo” (2023), is a bold expression of this fusion aesthetic and is available on all major streaming platforms.
A dedicated educator for over 20 years, Alisha maintains a thriving private studio and serves as an adjunct saxophone instructor for Bentonville Schools. She is proudly endorsed by Theo Wanne Mouthpieces and Antigua Winds.
Originally from Australia and raised in Singapore, Alisha began playing saxophone at age 11 while attending the United World College of South East Asia. Her talent was quickly recognized, leading to professional gigs on the Singapore music scene before earning a Bachelor of Music from the Queensland Conservatorium in Brisbane. In 2008, she relocated to Houston, Texas, where she became a fixture in the city’s vibrant jazz and blues community. Since 2018, she has continued her work as a respected performer, educator, and bandleader in Northwest Arkansas.
